Kid Cudi

Cleveland rapper Kid Cudi will celebrate the New Year on the road as he continues to back his recent studio debut, "Man on the Moon: The End of Day."

The performer continues the outing tonight (12/16) in Reno, followed by another 31 performances through late January. Several multi-night runs are on the books, including Dec. 21-22 in Los Angeles, Jan. 8-10 in Chicago, and Jan. 20-21 and Jan. 23-24 in New York City, among others. The full schedule is shown below.

Kid Cudi--the stage name of Ohio-born Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi--released "Man on the Moon: The End of Day," his first set on the Universal Motown label, in mid-September. The new record follows three independently released mixtapes, including 2008's "A Kid Named Cudi."

Before releasing his major-label debut, Kid Cudi provided support on Kanye West's chart-topping fourth album, "808s & Heartbreak," contributing guest vocals on "Welcome to Heartbreak."

Earlier this week, the rapper received three Grammy nominations: Best Rap Solo Performance and Best Rap Song for "Day 'n' Nite," and Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for his work with Kanye West and Common. Winners of the 2010 Grammy Awards will revealed during a Jan. 31 ceremony that will air live on CBS.

He also made news over the weekend when, according to TMZ, he allegedly punched a fan he thought had thrown a wallet at him while the rapper was performing in Vancouver, British Columbia.
