Elvis Presley Cirque du Soleil show previews this week
Preview performances of the new Elvis Presley-themed Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas begin Dec. 18, according to a press release.
During the preview period, the creative team behind the show will continue working on the final stages of production. Audience reaction and participation during these shows will essentially become an important step in the final production process.
All tickets for the preview performances will be discounted 25 percent.
The show, titled "Viva ELVIS" will officially open Feb. 21 in new ARIA Resort & Casino at CityCenter's custom-built Elvis Theater. The latest Cirque production will play twice a night, Friday through Tuesday; there will be no shows on Wednesdays or Thursdays.
